The first subject areas for Cybersecurity by industry, that we will focus on, during the “Cybersecurity Days for Verticals” online conferences, are intertwined with Greek entrepreneurship and take place during these days.

These days, when Cyber Security is a paramount requirement for private businesses of all industries – regardless of size and activity – as well as for all public organizations, agencies and government entities, it is imperative that we delve even deeper into the complex environment of sophisticated digital threats, and focus on the specifics of each technology ecosystem.
The complexity and special conditions that prevail in the various industries, due to the nature of their activities, the sensitivity of the data they manage, the architecture of their IT infrastructures, create unique challenges, which need to be addressed, with customized solutions, specialized services, and targeted security measures.
This is the main idea behind the “Cybersecurity for Verticals” approach, which aims to create a stable and open communication and information platform, between the information security solutions market, and businesses and organizations from all industries.
We create targeted and contemporary content for everyone
The first activity will be implemented within the framework of “Cybersecurity Days for Verticals” where in October – a month traditionally dedicated every year by the European Union to the campaign of raising awareness by citizens and organizations on cyber security issues, and this year also coincides with the official implementation of NIS2 – 2 one-day ONLINE SEMINARS will be held on October 24 and 31, by organizing a series of workshops with themed content per vertical market, which will be developed by experts, focusing on the challenges, special requirements and applications of cyber security solutions and services, of each industry separately!
The capture of “verticalization” of the application of digital security measures, as will be highlighted through the 30-minute workshops that will be organized every day – with the possibility of free live and OnDemand viewing – aims to strengthen the effectiveness of business defense policies, and upgrade their resilience, while achieving compliance with European directives (NIS2, DORA, GDPR, etc.) and the alignment of cyber security with the business strategy and goals of each company.
By delving into each market sector individually, and recognizing the dynamic nature of evolving risks and threats, we can formulate a proactive approach, tailored to each industry’s needs for a safer digital environment.
We Expand and Support the Community of Professionals
The “Cybersecurity for Verticals” platform will leverage the large community of professionals who have been following IT Security Pro for many years, and participate in the InfoCom Security conference, focusing on all vertical markets, and highlighting the different ways of applying cybersecurity solutions and services, across sectors and industries from the entire spectrum of entrepreneurship.
With the credibility of Smart Press, the “Cybersecurity Days for Verticals” lay strong foundations for the creation of an additional open forum for training and information on cybersecurity issues in a business environment, and target a particularly widened base of professionals, who hold positions of responsibility in companies and organizations of every sector, from all regions of Greece and Cyprus – due to their online nature.
